The Grinner - Writer/Director

Red Sky at Night (2020)
Writer/Director
Shot in late 2018 with a crew made up primarily from Goldcrest Films. A short that I have been working on since its inception in 2014. Due to its high production value and the amount we raised through crowd-funding, this has been my biggest short film to date.
Fever Dream - Writer/Director
Currently in Post Production
In comparison to Red Sky at Night, this short horror was shot in one day on a micro budget as myself and a colleague challenged ourselves to produce a frightening and atmospheric horror using minimal actors, props and locations to maximum effect.
Seize the Day (2018) - Writer/Producer
The first short film I produced after moving to London and starting work at Goldcrest Post Production which was a valuable asset for recording ADR and sound mixing for this production. A hugely enjoyable shoot with a skeleton cast and crew. It was also my first short made through crowd-funding which would prove as a useful predecessor to my next short film Red Sky at Night.
The Rizen: Possession (2019) - Set Runner
Sets of dark, maze-like tunnels, monster prosthetic’s and all in a large warehouse in the middle of winter. This was a unique experience as an on-set runner involving set painting, organising large groups of extras and cable bashing just to name a few.
Goodnight Jim (2015) - Writer
Back in 2014 myself and a group of seasoned film makers produced a short film to mark the 100 year anniversary of World War One. I was given the restrictions to keep the story contained to two characters isolated in a bunker to which I wrote a sombre drama about two old friends transporting themselves into a dream during an operation.
Fallen Soldiers (2015) - Production Assistant
My first job as a runner/production assistant on a feature film, involving a vast variety of roles including reading through lines with actors, extra work, alterations to sets and many more. This film was a great introduction for learning how a film shoot operates both on set and on location.
